Ordinarily I am politically inclined on this site. But my family faces a daunting situation: my grandson, my cherub of whom I've written before, will go into the hospital on October 15 to be evaluated for brain surgery to stop his seizures, the result of tuberous sclerosis.
Do you have any idea what we feel and think right now? We don't know what to pray for: yes, he qualifies. No, he doesn't. Which is less stressful? Ha!
I declare a moratorium on lambasting Obama, just for this short post. Then we can all get back to doing that--I consider it the Lord's work, I do. Trying to ask for one last chance to save the country before God decides to let us go down as the Godless, morally deficient lot we've become.
Instead, I appeal to your compassion and human emotions. This little boy, who tries and tries but cannot talk yet, who wants to tell us so much but cannot yet, who has seizures which unsettle and I fear frighten him, deserves all the support we can muster. If you feel you want to help him, please visit his web site,
www.gofundme.com/kunqg, and read his story. Perhaps you will want to contribute, and that is wonderful. But we know the economic reality of the present under Obama's regime. So if you cannot, please know we will be just as grateful for your prayers and good wishes. Look at his picture, and tell me he isn't worth whatever it takes to help him and support him and his parents and brother. I have blogger friends on Wordpress who follow his progress and pray for him, and have donated when they could. For this we are eternally grateful and humbled. Thank you for every prayer and every dollar. All of it helps, and all of it makes us realize that there are good people out there. And they are ALL conservative. ;)
